PITTSFIELD, Mass. - This weekend, the Berkshire Museum will start welcoming walk-in visitors for the first time since it reopened last August.
The move coincides with Gov. Charlie Baker's lifting of the state's COVID-19 restrictions on May 29. Vaccinated guests won't be required to wear face masks, but are strongly encouraged to, since many visitors under age 12 aren't yet eligible for vaccination.
Reservations, which had been required to visit the museum and gift shop since reopening in August, are now optional.
The Berkshire Museum says visiting hours will stay the same for now:
- Mon. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thurs. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Fri. and Sat. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The facility underwent several renovations in the last year.
