MASS. - Taking alcoholic drinks "to-go" from restaurants may soon be coming to an end.

The Massachusetts State of Emergency is set to be lifted on June 15. The state's Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission put out an advisory to remind establishments they will no longer be able to provide takeaway sales of alcohol after this date.

When it comes to outdoor dining, restaurants which currently have licenses can continue to provide outdoor dining for up to 60 days through August 15.

Worcester plans to keep its temporary outdoor dining program in place until the end of the season. Those permits are set to expire on January 1, 2022.
