WORCESTER, Mass. - A medical group in Worcester is adding services to help serve people living with cancer and other diseases.

Reliant Medical Center opened it's Oncology and Infusion center on Monday at it's Neponset Street location. It will house the group's oncology and hematology departments as well as 20 bays for chemotherapy and other treatments.

Chief of Oncology and Hematology, Dr. Bradley Switzer, says now patients won't have to worry about going to two different locations for cancer services.

"We're trying to foster an environment where it's a single place where patients can go and receive all of the care and make it convenient for them and efficient," said Dr. Switzer.

There are 250 to 300 patients currently undergoing treatment at the Oncology and Infusion center.
