To start as a freshman is extremely rare.

To do so without summer camp and only three weeks of pre-season is incredible.

Holy cross freshman Matt Sluka didn’t even arrive on campus until January and made his mark just a few weeks after arriving helping lead the Crusaders to a Patriot League championship and a berth in the NCAA playoffs.
