UPDATE: The victim in the crash has been identified as Carolann R. Dudas, 21, of Worcester.

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - A 21-year-old Worcester woman died in a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 9 in Northborough on Sunday evening.

According to the Northborough Police Department, officers responded to the area of 14 Belmont St. around 7:30 PM for a report a of single car accident. 

The victim's vehicle had left the roadway, rolled over and landed on top of a vehicle displayed for sale at the Northborough Lexus dealership. 

The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her name is being withheld at this time pending the notification of her family. 

Route 9 between Otis St. and Rt. 20 was shut down for the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (CMLEC) accident reconstruction team to conduct an investigation.

The Northborough Police Department was assisted by the Northborough Fire Department, Shrewsbury Police Department, and the Westborough Police Department.
