WORCESTER, Mass. - A new recovery center in Worcester will help young adults dealing with addiction.
Teen challenge was originally in Brockton, but moved to Chatham St. in Worcester.
They celebrated their new location on Saturday.
The center is a 12 to 15-month program, and not only helps people get off substances, but also helps them re-enter the world when they’ve recovered.
The center in Worcester will have more than 80 beds, and is hopeful they can change the lives of all who walk through the door.
Teen Challenge Director Jonathan Mello said, “The issue of addiction continues to rise, continues to get worse. We strive, Team Challenge New England, to be a solution to that problem."
The long-term treatment program is a faith-based alternative to drug and alcohol rehabilitation. For more information, visit teenchallengeschools.com
