As many gyms in Massachusetts increase their capacity to 50 percent Monday, Prime Fitness in Oxford says they won't need to make any changes.

Owner David Blondin says they were able to space gym-goers out well enough from the start, but the new guidelines do give them more leeway. The gym violated state regulations when they reopened in May before getting the green light. Blondin faced fines and the town locked his doors and shut the water off. He says these past several months have been some of Prime Fitness's most successful and they're at a record member count.

"We've had over 40 thousand visits in this facility since May, since we opened up, and we have not had one positive case. I will say, we've always been a clean gym and people have always wiped their stuff down, but with all these precautions coming into play, a lot more people are wiping down more than ever and being more cautious on their safety as well."

Blondin says they don't require masks when working out. He thinks fitness leads to healthy immune systems and will help combat any virus
