A Worcester based graphics company is receiving recognition from the Small Business Association for their work.

The SBA named Dave Winchester, President of Ready2Run Graphics, the Massachusetts 2020 veteran small business owner of the year. Ready2Run is a graphics and sign company, focusing on experiential graphics.

Winchester says they’ve been able to grow their business thanks in part to the resources available through the SBA. He served in the Navy for 22 years, and says many of the skills he learned there transferred into running his business.

"I think my military background kind of helped a little bit with managerial and administrative tasks. We started doing business with the federal government, state government and we look for opportunities to grow our business and create job opportunities for people in this area."

Winchester received the honor during the SBA’s virtual business week awards this week.
