As part of Canine Companions for Independence's DogFest 2020 virtual event, the Worcester Red Sox made a major announcement.
The team revealed its mascot, "Smiley," a yellow smiley-face pin.
"Smiley" was announced by NESN's Tom Caron and other mascots, including Polar Beverages' polar bear, "Orson" and the Pawtucket Red Sox' own polar bears, "Paws" and "Sox."
The video above shows "Smiley" dancing with Polar Park construction workers while touring the stadium site.
The Woo Sox are set to start their season in Spring 2021.
