A new program will allow people to get EMT certified while also being paid for their training. Vital EMS is partnering with the city of Worcester to launch the Earn While You Learn program. Springfield adopted it last fall and so far 35 people have already graduated from the program. In Worcester, Vital EMS is the back up 911 provider for Worcester EMS. They say they need EMTs more than ever.
