A store to show support for the 45th President of the United States has opened up in Webster.

The New England for Trump merchandise store is located on East Main St. and has dozens of items to show support for President Trump. The store opened Saturday, August 15.

Store employee Richard Hernandez says Trump 2020 t-shirts, coffee mugs and flags have been some of these most popular items thus far.

Hernandez says customers are fearful of showing their support for the President because the merchandise they purchase sometimes gets vandalized.

“Quite a few people have expressed concern. ‘I wish I could put this on my vehicle without fear of parking somewhere and getting vandalized…’ and so forth. Even us, we have experienced a few things here. They have torn a few of our signs over the nights when we are not here. There have been quite a few concerns from people. Some can't wear them to work, some are concerned about their vehicles,” Hernandez said.

Part of the proceeds from the merchandise will go towards President Trump's reelection campaign.
