The Worcester Public School District is releasing its plan for the return to school this fall. The proposal can be found at here, and the school committee will review it later this week.

Sources with knowledge of the plan tell Spectrum News 1 the first 10 weeks of school will be full remote learning, and schools will gradually adopt a hybrid learning model beginning in the second quarter of the school year.

There are 44 schools in the district and more than 28,000 students. The city's schools closed for in-person learning in March amid coronavirus concerns.
