The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce serves sixteen communities across Worcester and Middlesex County and says almost all of their businesses are impacted by COVID-19.

President and CEO, Melissa Fetterhoff says while some are thriving, others are worried about surviving. Fetterhoff says several types of businesses were able to open in New Hampshire before Massachusetts. And since some of the communities they serve are  so close to the border, they saw many customers going to a different state. She says some of their businesses will be relying on the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to open back up.

Fetterhoff, "I have not heard from any business yet that says they aren't going to be reopening. Chambers across the state are ready to work with businesses to do whatever they can to stay in business and thrive."

Fetterhoff says some businesses did struggle to receive money from the PPP, but have no been able to access it.
