WORCESTER - District 1 City Councilor Sean Rose is addressing a subject on the minds of many Worcester residents: How do they shop for City trash bags?

At Tuesday's City Council meeting, Rose will ask City Manager Ed Augustus to consider reaching out to local businesses to come up with an alternative option to purchasing yellow city bags -- such as delivering the yellow bags or even offering curbside pick-up at stores. 

Rose says residents have reached out to him saying they're reluctant to go to grocery stores and be around other people during the pandemic. He said the Worcester Senior Center has been successfully providing similar services to the City's elderly population.
