WORCESTER - The Canal District in Worcester is hosting a movie production next week.
Spectrum News 1 has learned the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center will turn into a movie set on Valentine's Day, Friday, Februray 14.
The Hallmark Channel will be shooting "A Christmas Pirouette." Hallmark is looking for youth hockey players in the area to be part of the shoot.
Filming will also take place on Monday, Feb. 10 and Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Kettle Brook Lofts in Worcester and then move to the Worcester Common Oval on Wednesday and Worcester's City Hall on Thursday.
The film is being directed by John Stimpson, known in the area of using Worcester locations in other movies such as Christmas a la Mode.
