EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — A Los Angeles wildfire severely damaged Palisades Charter High School, forcing the school’s 2,900 students into online learning, with many of the students also losing their homes.

But the students and their band director aren’t letting the fires, its destruction or even the remote classes stop them from doing what they love.

The marching band joined “Your Morning” for their first performance since the fires together.

The school is holding a special in-person benefit dinner and an online auction to raise money for the school’s critical needs. Including items for the band like uniforms, instruments and even sheet music.
