EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Thousands of students who lost their schools in the Palisades Fire are getting ready to go back to class. But instead of hitting a new campus, they’ll be heading into office parks in Santa Monica and West Los Angeles.

Palisades Charter High School will soon reopen in the long-empty Sears building near the Third Street Promenade.

LAUSD Board member Nick Melvoin joined "Your Morning" to share more.
