LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It’s time for the Cardinals to come dancing and luckily the party is just a few miles down the road.
Lexington’s Rupp Arena is hosting the opening rounds of the men’s NCAA Tournament. No. 8 seed Louisville will meet No. 9 seed Creighton at 12:15 p.m. ET, the opening game of the Round of 64.
The party starts on Wednesday, March 19 when fans will watch an open practice with the team. The Cards take the floor from 11:45 a.m. until 12:25 p.m.
Next up on Thursday, there will be a pregame fan party and send off. From 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. fans can celebrate the University of Louisville men’s basketball team at the Hilton Lexington/Downtown—which is at 369 W. Vine Street. Complimentary snacks will be served and there will be a cash bar available.
Fans who would rather cheer on their team at home can head down to Ten20 Craft Brewery to watch the Cards. Special food and drink specials will be available at the Butchertown, Anchorage and Clarksville, Indiana locations.
Women’s Basketball

Fans of Jeff Walz’s women’s team who are traveling to Fort Worth to see their opening game, will have a party too. There will be a team send-off before Friday’s game at Kimper Harper Hotel—714 Main Street in Fort Worth, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Louisville is a 7 seed and will play No. 10 seed Nebraska. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. ET.
