LOUISVILLE, Ky. — There will be more tailgating this season for Louisville Cardinals fans. The Atlantic Coast Conference revealed UofL’s full schedule Monday.
For only the second time in program history, the Cards will play eight home games. The first time the home schedule was this full was 2008.
The 2025 season kicks off with three straight homes games—Eastern Kentucky, James Madison and Bowling Green. EKU visits L&N Stadium on Aug. 30. The Dukes are up next for its second visit on Sept. 6. UofL beat them 34-10 in their first meeting in 2022.
An early bye week hits on Sept 13 followed by a first-time visitor to Louisville, Mid-American conference foe, Bowling Green.
ACC play begins on the road for the Cards when they travel to Pittsburgh on Sept. 27. The teams have split their last two meetings with each school winning on their home turf.
2025 marks UofL’s 11th season in the ACC, but this year for the first time since joining the league, the Cards will make their first trip to Virginia Tech since 1991. They play the Hokies for the first time as ACC members on Nov. 1.
Three of the final four games of the season will be at L&N Stadium. Cal comes to Louisville for the first time on Nov. 8 and then a short week has them playing Clemson on Friday, Nov. 14.
Coach Jeff Brohm’s final road game of the 2025 season has the team traveling to Dallas to take on the SMU Mustangs.
The final game of the season, of course, is Kentucky and the Wildcats will play the in-state rivalry at Louisville on Nov. 29.
