GREEN BAY, Wis. — The City of Green Bay will host the 2025 NFL Draft starting April 24, but the festivities will start sooner.
In partnership with the Greater Green Bay YMCA, the City of Green Bay will host Field Fest at Historic City Stadium on Wednesday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Community members can get a taste of the NFL combine. With eight football-themed stations, participants can try activities like the 40-yard dash, an obstacle course, a QB challenge and more.
There will also be giveaways, food and fun for the whole family to enjoy.
“This partnership with the City of Green Bay is a tremendous opportunity to showcase the power of community,” said Jamie Hanner, interim chief executive officer of the Greater Green Bay YMCA.
The event will take place at Historic City Stadium, a place the Green Bay Packers called home less than a decade after their inaugural season, residing there from 1925 to 1956. The Packers started playing at what is now called Lambeau Field in 1957.
“For more than 150 years, the YMCA has proudly been a part of our community, promoting health, wellness, and connection for people of all ages and backgrounds. We are excited to collaborate on an event that celebrates these values while honoring the historic legacy of City Stadium…,” said Hanner.
Wednesday’s event is part of Touchdown Downtown, a four-day series of events being hosted by the City of Green Bay leading up to the NFL Draft.
