LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Rainy and windy conditions are expected Friday, Sept. 27 as remnants of Hurricane Helene move into Kentucky, and Jefferson County Public Schools is preparing accordingly

  • Jefferson County Public Schools is rescheduling several football games set for Friday, Sept. 27 to Thursday, Sept. 26 

  • This is ahead of rainy and windy conditions expected to move into the commonwealth from remnants of Hurricane Helene 

  • Helene is expected to make landfall in Florida Thursday evening, Sept. 26

Some schools are rescheduling their Friday night football games to Thursday, Sept. 26 ahead of the expected weather. Here are the games and new kickoff times: 

  • North Bullitt at Seneca, Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
  • Lafayette at Moore, Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
  • Jeffersontown at Doss, Thursday at 7 p.m.
  • Christian Academy at duPont Manual, Thursday at 7 p.m.
  • Trimble County at Iroquois, Thursday at 7:30 p.m. 
  • Central Hardin at Central, Thursday at 7 p.m.
  • Valley at Waggener, Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
  • Lexington Christian at Shawnee, Thursday at 6 p.m.
