  • No additional tickets will be sold for the festival

  • The Kentuckiana Pride Parade remains free and open to the public

In a news release announcing the milestone, the organization said no additional tickets will be sold for the festival to ensure a “safe and fun experience for all.” That includes no day-of ticket sales at the gates on Saturday. The Kentuckiana Pride Parade remains open and free to the public. It will start at the corner of South Campbell Street and East Market Street at noon on Saturday, June 15.

This year’s festival will feature entertainment on two stages, with more than 200 vendors, food trucks and more. Performers for the festival include Icona Pop, Chappell Roan and Robin S.

“In our wildest dreams we did not expect such an overwhelming response this year, not only in ticket buyers, but also in sponsors and vendors,” said Kentuckiana Pride Foundation Board President Rodney Coffman.

“In the end, we had to make a decision to ensure the safety of everyone involved and placed a capacity limit on this year’s festival. This was not an easy decision as we know it will impact our full community from being able to be together.”

Kentuckiana Pride is hosting other events in June, including the Chill Bar Pride Weekend Celebration on June 13, DJ Dan Slater at Play Louisville on June 14 and Splash to the Past Drag Brunch and Poll Party on June 16. More information can be found on their website
