TEXAS — Whether you’re looking for beer or bratwurst, Oktoberfest events are happening statewide this weekend. Celebrating German heritage, you’re not going to want to miss out on all the fun!

FREDERICKSBURG

This weekend is one of the busiest weekends in Fredericksburg. With people coming to celebrate all weekend, Oktoberfest will be happening from 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday, 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

There will be shopping, music, art, and plenty of beer and wine. The weekend long event will take place at Marktplatz in downtown Fredericksburg.

Tickets for adults start at $10 for a one-day pass, $15 for a two-day pass, and a three-day pass is $20. Tickets for children 7-12 are $1 and children under 6 are free. Oktoberfest Park & Ride is available in Fredericksburg. They offer all-day park and ride access between the Gillespie County Fairgrounds and Oktoberfest. Tickets for the Park & Ride service can be purchased at this link. Tickets for the festival will be available at the gate.

SAN ANTONIO

The Bier Garten Riverwalk has been celebrating German heritage since mid-Sept. but those celebrations will not stop until Oct. 29.

This weekend, the Riverwalk’s celebration will have beer from Altstadt brewery in Fredericksburg. Featuring live music, dancing and tons of fun; you won’t want to miss out on this celebration.

FRISCO

The 4th annual Oktoberfest will take place at The Star in Frisco this Saturday. From 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., you can experience live music and dancing, keg rolling, brat eating contests and so much more!

The event is free to attend with food and beverage available for purchase.
