LORETTO, Ky. — The Maker's Mark distillery has reopened to visitors and resumed tours.
Similar to other distilleries in the state, Maker's Mark is implementing new health and safety measures. For instance, masks are required and tour groups are limited to eight people.
Tours, which include a bourbon tasting, will also avoid some of the distillery's smaller interior areas and focus on the main campus and a warehouse.
Tour prices are $25 per person, and reservations must be made online in advance. Reservations, for now, may only be made up to four weeks in advance.
Tours will run Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the last tour of the day starting at 3:30 p.m.
Star Hill Provisions, the distillery's restaurant, will reopen Wednesday, July 22. It will be open Wednesdays through Sundays 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All visitors must show an ID verifying they're 21 or older, and no cash will be accepted, only debit and credit cards.
