FRANKFORT, Ky. — A member of the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission (LRC) tested positive for COVID-19 Monday. The employee is recovering and doing well.

All LRC staff were told of the positive test Monday.

The LRC told Spectrum News 1 the employee has been teleworking since Monday, March 16 and even though they believe the risk of exposure is low, all coworkers who had contact with the staffer have been told and have been asked to follow self-isolation and quarantine protocols.

The facilities department has been informed and plans to sanitize the area where the employee worked.
