Today will be another nice day, but it will be noticeably hotter and muggier this afternoon courtesy of a southerly wind. Highs will reach the Mid 80s.  There won't be a need for an umbrella, but additional clouds area expected to dance across the sky.

An umbrella WILL be needed tomorrow, as a cold front moves into the area sparking showers & storms.  Rain will impact your morning commute...with more expected later in the day. There will also be a Slight Risk ( Level 2 out of 5 threat) for storms to reach severe limits...damaging wind and hail will be the primary threats.  Highs will remain in the low - mid 80s.

The previously mentioned cold front will cross our area by Wednesday evening, and it'll stall across TN.  So, areas north of I-64 will have less of a rain coverage for Thursday compared to areas south of I-64 that will be closer to the front. Yet, rain chances ramp up again Friday into the weekend as the stalled boundary begins to move north as a warm front ahead of a broad area of low pressure that'll slowly cross our region.  It'll also pull in some tropical moisture, and rain estimates could be higher because of this by the weekend...stay tuned. Regardless, you need to carry the rain gear everyday between Wednesday and Sunday.  Even with the rain, temps should stay in the 80s (for most of KY) the rest of this week.
