An Arctic air mass remains over the area, but the winds are not as strong as yesterday. This will make it feel a little better, but it's still very cold with highs staying in the 20s this afternoon (low 30s for Western KY).  Yet...there WILL be very low sub-zero wind chill values for parts of Northern KY (near Covington) this morning. Therefore, there's a Wind Chill Advisory in effect until early this afternoon for that specific part of KY.  Clouds & sun will dominate the day, but there will be an upper disturbance that will bring a chance for wintry weather to parts of the state overnight into the 1st half of Friday.  The most impactful weather will be across Northern KY (near Covington) where 1" - 2" of snowfall is possible. Otherwise, from the rest of the state could get a dusting of snow by Friday morning before the precip changes to a wintry mix then rain before ending by early afternoon.

Highs will reach the low 40s Friday, then temps really CLIMB for the weekend!  A southerly wind will prevail for both Saturday & Sunday. This will help to bring Spring-like weather to KY with 50s expected for Saturday and 60s for highs on Sunday.  Early next week, the pattern won't change too much with 50s & 60s on deck at least through Wednesday.  Rain chances do look higher for Monday affiliated with a cold front that'll cross our area then stall. This "stalled front" potential will keep possible showers in the forecast for Tuesday & Wednesday as the front may move back north as a warm front.  Stay tuned, but get ready for what we do know for sure...WARMER WEATHER IS COMING!
