Quiet weather can be expected as Thanksgiving gets closer.  Today, there will be more clouds than sunshine due to an upper level disturbance keeping our skies overcast. Yet, rain won't wash-out any plans.  There could be some areas of drizzle at times...and maybe a little wintry mix across Northern Kentucky (briefly) before 1PM.  Otherwise, it'll be a quiet weather day.  It will also be a COLD day with highs 10° - 15° below average in the low 40s.  Tonight will be a FREEZING night with lows dropping into the upper 20s under a clear sky.  So, make sure to practice safe heating procedures tonight (keep space heaters away from anything flamable...and ovens aren't proper ways to heat your home).

Thankfully, Wednesday starts with sunshine...which will help warm temps up to near 50°.  It'll be a great day for traveling across the Region.  Thanksgiving looks similar with a mix of sun and clouds. A southerly wind takes over by Black Friday ahead of our next storm system...warming temps up.  You won't feel the "warm up" in the morning while many of you shop (temps will drop into the low 30s before sunrise Friday).  However, temps will creep up to the seasonable mid-upper 50s by the afternoon.  Rain also moves in by the evening, and it'll linger into Saturday morning.  That system moves out, but a southerly wind will continue...helping temps reach the upper 50s again Saturday afternoon.  Then, ahead of another storm system, temps shoot up to near 60° on Sunday afternoon.   This system will bring a chance for showers and storms by Sunday evening...lasting through the predawn hours on Monday.  Stay tuned for updates on this system...including timing changes as the event gets closer.   In the wake of this storm, much colder air returns by Monday.
