The Cards kept it close in the first half, but the Gamecocks ran away with it in the end. South Carolina was six for 17 from the three-point line compared to the Cards one for 8.

“We came back in the first half and I was very proud of them, they hung in there so like I said no shame, just proud to be here,” UofL fan Jim Rogers said.

“We hope that they come back and they’re anxious and they are eager to win and eager to play and do the best,” UofL fan Connie Rogers said.

And the players continue to be role models for the next generation.

“I really look up to Mykasa Robinson because I really like defense and I feel like she’s really good at that,” Lilli Best said.
