LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Are you missing your Louisville Bats? The baseball club is hosting its first-ever Holiday Open House Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5 and 6.

Fans can check out the renovations currently taking place at the ballpark to get ready for the 2021 season.  The team store will be open and they promise there will be discounts on team merchandise some up to 50% off.  If you spend $25 or more you will get a free mystery bobblehead to add to your collection.

Fans can also help sports fans in some of Louisville's economically disadvantaged areas.  The Louisville Bats along with Humana and the Louisville Sports Commission will be collecting new and outgrown youth baseball and softball equipment.  Items collected will benefit LSC's "Playing It Forward" program. The program hopes to eliminate the cost of equipment as an excuse for kids not to participate in organized sports.  All of the equipment collected will be handed out in Louisville neighborhoods before the start of the 2021 baseball and softball season.  As a bonus, anyone donating to "Playing It Forward" will receive a 20% off coupon for Dick's Sporting Goods and a 20% coupon for the Bats Team Store.

The Holiday Open House will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m each day at Louisville Slugger Field located at 401 E. Main Street.
