LEXINGTON, Ky. – Attention Cat fans. Big Blue Madness and Pro Day are coming to you later this month.

The University of Kentucky and the SEC Network will show both of these events on television only. No fans will be allowed at either event.

Fan-favorite Big Blue Madness will also take place at Memorial Coliseum for the first time in 16 years.

Big Blue Madness is the first time fans will see the men's and women's basketball teams. But it will be very different from any other Madness in years past since the coliseum will be empty and fanless. The hour and a half long show will take place Fri., Nov. 20 at 9 p.m. In addition to meeting the teams, fans can expect practice drills, scrimmages, player spotlights, a performance by the 24-time national championship cheerleading team, and more. 

SEC Network personalities Tom Hart, Jimmy Dykes, and Carolyn Peck will 

be the announcers for the show. 

Pro Day

Pro Day showcases the current UK roster for NBA organizations and will take place Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.

Because of the coronavirus, there will be strict safety protocols restricting professional scouts and general managers from attending in person. 

The 90-minute Pro Day will air on SEC Network. 30 NBA teams will be given an exclusive feed of the combine-like practice run by Kentucky coaches and staff. The players will go through various agility and shooting drills, plus 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmaging. Tom Hart and Jimmy Dykes will be the broadcast team.
