LEXINGTON, Ky. – It is never easy playing football in the Southeastern Conference, but it's even more challenging during a pandemic.

The University of Kentucky released its 2020 football schedule and their 10-game all-SEC schedule includes road trips to Alabama and Auburn.

The last time the Cats played Alabama was in 2016 and they lost 24-6 in Tuscaloosa.

Ole Miss will make a return trip to Kroger Field, the first visit since 2017 where they pulled out a win against the Cats 37-34.

Other teams making a visit to Lexington include Georgia, Mississippi State, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt. The Wildcats' road games are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Head Coach Mark Stoops begins his eighth season with Kentucky on Sept. 26. The season will run through December 5. The specific game dates haven' been determined but should be finalized in two weeks.

Mitch Barnhart, UK Director of Athletics said, “Our student-athletes, coaches and staffs are dealing with unique challenges. We appreciate Commissioner (Greg) Sankey, the SEC Office and the SEC Medical Task Force for their dedication and leadership as we take the next steps in this process.”

Information about tickets and additional fan information will be announced at a later date.
