KENTUCKY — Spectrum News 1’s Mario Anderson talks with Democratic Attorney General candidate, Ret. Col. Pamela Stevenson.
Stevenson is challenging Republican Russell Coleman in Kentucky’s 2023 general election campaign. Stevenson is a current member of the General Assembly, representing part of Jefferson County in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2021. Coleman is a former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky, and received his nomination to the position from President Donald Trump and was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
Both Stevenson and Coleman did not appear on Kentucky’s primary ballot in May because the two candidates were unopposed for their party’s nomination.
Russell Coleman was also offered an opportunity to participate in a similar candidate conversation sit-down interview, but his campaign declined the opportunity as Coleman is out-of-state traveling and was not available to talk with us ahead of Fancy Farm.
