CINCINNATI — Cincinnati’s Asian Food Fest is serving up good food and goodwill for the 12th year, featuring about 50 different vendors and more than 100 dishes, said Qorinah Wardhani, one of the event’s co-chair.

​“We have a lot of representation from the Filipino community, the Malaysian, Syrian and Lebanese communities,” she said. “We’re hoping to represent all Asian communities in the Cincinnati area. 

Wardhani, an Indonesian-American, has been working at the festival for 10 years. Like all the other workers, she’s a volunteer.

“Come on out. Support your local businesses,” Wardhani said. “Just enjoy what we’ve worked so hard for, for the city. Try all the different dishes and stay longer for the entertainment that we have.”

More than 100 musicians and entertainers are scheduled during the two-day event, Wardhani said. 

There is no admission fee and food vendors take cash and many also accept credit cards. The event runs in downtown Cincinnati’s Court Street Plaza from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
