NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — The Barbasol Championship recently donated a sizeable amount of money to local Kentucky charities. Specifically, the golf tournament’s charitable arm, Caddie127, distributed $250,000 to its partners in the Bluegrass state.
The tournament’s charitable arm is called Caddie127 and checks were delivered to All God’s Children, UK HealthCare Kentucky Children’s Hospital, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Refuge for Women, Sunrise Children’s Services, and the Woodhill Community Center.
According to organizers, Caddie127 has given out $670,000 in the last four years.
Caddie127 chose charities, it says align with its primary mission to “support philanthropic organizations that benefit and empower women and children.
Each year, they hold the tournament in Nicholasville. The 2023 tournament is set for July 13-16 at Keene Trace Golf Club, which is about an hour from Louisville and Cincinnati. As for the golf tournament itself, the Barbasol Championship is a PGA Tour event played in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
