LOUISVILLE, Ky. — After years of controversy and legal battles, Topgolf Louisville is hoping to open its doors by Thanksgiving and is looking to fill 500 positions in all departments.
The Topgolf construction site near the Oxmoor Mall is very active as they seek employees.
“These jobs, the goal, behind them is to grow into salary roles. We have hourly managers in the back of the house, in our kitchen, as well as in our front of house. We have cooks, bussers, dishwashers, bartenders, our event admins, so a full rail,” Hollie Partierno, the director of operations said.
Patierno told Spectrum News 1 these events are interactive, which means if a person is interested in working for Topgolf but isn’t sure of the position, these events will help them find the best fit. Corporate trainers are spending the next six to eight weeks in Louisville to help with the hiring process.
“From there, we move over to play some games which is very unique,” Pateierno said. “So our hiring events are about us getting to know them as well as them getting to know us.”
The company will host at least eight more hiring events.
“If they’re looking for a fun, fast-paced environment, and get on the ground floor of building the Louisville community up, definitely, this is the place to go,” Jeanine McKenize, Topgolf’s director of sales said.
The hiring events take place at the Topgolf corporate offices 101 on Bullitt Lane, across the street from the facility itself.
