LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine Knights men's basketball program on Wednesday unveiled part of their 2022 non-conference schedule, which features a daunting lineup of some storied college basketball powerhouses, including a couple from the school's old Kentucky home.

Head Coach Scotty Davenport announced the portion of its non-conference schedule spanning November through December would include the likes of Clemson, Duke and UCLA. The Knights will also hit the road in November to face off against neighbors UofL, Kentucky and Murray State.
In a news release, Davenport said he's excited for the 2022 schedule and the relationships and respect it'll cultivate.
“Scheduling is a huge component of putting our players, university and the greatest college basketball community in the country first,” Davenport said. “I appreciate the opportunities these phenomenal programs have provided our players and program."
Bellarmine will open the season with a short drive on the road to the KFC Yum! Center to take on the Louisville Cardinals on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Their month will conclude at Rupp Arena to face the Kentucky Wildcats.
The game against Murray State hasn't been finalized but will be played at Freedom Hall, according to the news release.
Here's what Bellarmine's non-conference schedule looks like so far:
- Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Louisville
- Friday, Nov. 18 at Clemson
- Monday, Nov. 21 at Duke
- Friday, Nov. 25 at Loyola Marymount
- Sunday, Nov. 27 at UCLA
- Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Kentucky
- Saturday, Dec. 17 vs. Miami (Ohio) at Freedom Hall
- Wednesday Dec. 21 at Evansville
- TBA vs. Murray State at Freedom Hall
Davenport said additional non-conference games will be announced soon. The ASUN Conference is set to unveil the 2022-23 schedule on Thursday.
