One last song for Jordan Baize, in the middle of a disaster.

“I honestly just wanted to play it one more time,” Baize said.

Friday night, Baize was in the basement with his family, and within seconds his house was gone.

“We used to spend A lot of time here or did, I hope to again. I expect to rebuild probably right here. I couldn't imagine really doing anything differently,” Baize said.

Baize has owned his house for seven years but says Bremen has always been home. For around 50 years this land has belonged to his family.

“I grew up playing here as a kid climbing these trees across the property and now, Max, my little boy does the same. It's special to us. And it's home I guess,” Baize said.

Baize says the outpouring from his community has been a blessing, but knows that he is one of the lucky ones when it comes to total loss.

“This is bad and my home was lost and it looks rough. But I was able to salvage a lot of my things and search. I have friends though whose homes are missing. Not and I can find several of them they don't know. I mean they're, they've vanished,” Baize said.

In addition to friends searching for their homes, Baize says people have been in the fields looking for their clothes and personal items.

“It's so hard and we're just praying for the folks that this is bad. I don't want to do that we're praying for the folks that have it so much worse than we do,” Baize said.

And with one last song, Baize says his music and faith will get him through these tough times.
