KENTUCKY — Saturday was a day of somber news, as the one person still reported missing yesterday had been found, but the reported death toll rose.

All of the people reported missing in Kentucky after tornadoes swept through the state last weekend have been accounted for, Gov. Andy Beshear said Saturday. The death toll stands at 78, though there is a discrepancy between Beshear's staff and emergency management officials.

Sen. Mitch McConnell visited several hard-hit areas on Saturday, including Dawson Springs and Mayfield. He pledged to fight for federal aid long after the current 30-day period that's been approved.

Kentucky state parks continue to lodge more than 600 displaced Kentuckians. Nearly all seven state parks are at capacity. If you or someone you knows needs disaster relief they can fill out an application online here.
