On Wednesday, LMPD said it was looking for a gray Jeep in connection to a drive-by shooting at a west Louisville bus stop that killed one teenager. Family members later identified him as 16-year-old Tyree Smith.

The shooting also left a 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl with non-life-threatening injuries. All three students attended Eastern High School.

LMPD is working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the FBI on the investigation. Police Chief Erika Shields said on Wednesday that citizens have approached the police and volunteered information and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
