The festival is known as one of Lexington’s most unique events. It combines local food, music, a classic car show and of course:

“Beer. I like all the vendors and stuff like that. I came with my husband, my son and my cousin, so it is actually a family day," said Lisa Nicholson. She and her family are Crave regulars.

“This will probably be five years. It is fun with the music and everything,” said Nicholson.

This year, the festival is moving to an all-digital system. Festival-goers can purchase Crave bucks to use toward food and drinks.

People began lining up for the festival an hour before the scheduled opening time. Caleb Richardson arrived early to help set up and direct families toward the food and fun.

“I love helping people. Just coming here and helping the community makes it a great day. It has been an enjoyable day, the work has not been too hard. We are basically here giving a helping hand for everyone who needs it,” said Richardson.

Crave partnered with many charities for this year's festival. Greenhouse 17 will receive the largest portion of festival proceeds, which will aid in ending intimate partner abuse in families and the community in Fayette County.
