LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man was cited Monday after police said he threated Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio over the school district's mask policy.

According to the criminal citation, the incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. at the Vanhoose Education Center in Louisville. The citation lists two charges: terroristic threatening in the third degree and disorderly conduct in the second degree.

Jefferson County School Security, in the citation, alleged 43-year-old Bradley Linzy entered the building and argued with staff about mask mandates. Linzy was asked to leave multiple times but he refused, the citation said.

Linzy was found in his car when JCPS security arrived, and he admitted to having a gun in his front seat. Linzy started to leave the scene until he saw Pollio leaving the building.

According to authorities, Linzy "aggressively" approached and followed Pollio to the front of the Vanhoose Educational Center. Linzy allegedly told the superintendent "Your life is F—ing over and career as you know it."

Authorities said he also told Pollio "you don't know what I'm capable of doing."

Linzy is scheduled to appear in court on July 26.
