LEXINGTON, Ky. — COVID-19 testing schedules in Lexington are changing due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Mayor's Mobile Neighborhood Testing Program will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, and Wednesday, Nov. 25, at The Red Mile, 1200 Red Mile Road.

Free testing is available without an appointment, with both walk-up and drive-up options. Results are available between 48 and 72 hours.

Next week, the program will move to Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 605 Hill n' Dale Road. During Dec. 3-5, testing will go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Free drive-thru testing is available at Keeneland Race Course, located at 4201 Versailles Rd. Testing will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 24-25. Reservations are required and can be made online.

Additional drive-thru testing is available at Bluegrass Community and Technical College, 500 Newtown Pike. During Nov. 24-25, testing will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At 1505 College Way and 1350 Bull Lea Rd., testing is available through a partnership with the University of Kentucky, UK HealthCare, and Wild Health. Free drive-thru testing is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 24-25 and Nov. 28. Appointments are required and can be made online.

Walgreen's testing location at 2296 Executive Drive (the corner of Winchester Road and Executive Drive) will operate while test kits are available. Registration is required and can be completed online.

Free drive-thru testing at Southland Christian Church, 2349 Richmond Road, will be closed Nov. 23-27.

If none of these options work for you, most private healthcare providers are offering testing options to patients. Urgent Care Centers also offer COVID-19 testing.
