LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville junior forward Jordan Nwora is headed to Milwaukee.

During the second round of the 2020 NBA draft, Nwora was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 45th pick overall.

The 22-year-old was the only player to collectively rank among the Atlantic Coast Conference's (ACC) top 10 in scoring (18.0 ppg, second in the ACC), rebounding (7.7, 8th), free throw percentage (.813, 4th), field goal percentage (.440, 8th), and three-pointers made per game (2.5, 2nd).

In 2019-20, his 76 three-point goals were the 11-most in a single season at Louisville, right behind his sophomore year total of 77. With 1,294 points, Nwora is tied for 31st in career scoring, seventh in career three-point percentage (.394), and 11th in career three-pointers (178). In 14 games, Nwora scored 10 or more points, including a record 37 points on Jan. 29 at Boston College.

Nwora also became the Cardinals' 21st All-America selection in 2019-20, the first since Russ Smith in 2014. The Associated Press, NABC, The Sporting News, and others named him to All-America third teams.

During ACC games in the 2019-20 season, he made 41.9% of his three-point shots (52-of-124, second in the ACC) and 84.9 percent at the free-throw line (62-of-73, 3rd in the ACC). He scored in double figures in 67 games over his career, 27 of which are from his junior year. He also had seven double-doubles on the season and 16 in the last two years.
