LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland wrapped up on Saturday and since fans weren't allowed in to watch, many found different ways to celebrate this year. One bar in Lexington partnered up with Breeders’ Cup to help provide entertainment to fans.

“Since fans can't go to the track to watch the race, we're gonna try and find a place where fans can come and watch the races. So we have a promotion today where fans can come here and watch the races and kind of bet on the race. We're giving away money to fans as they watch the races.” Ryan Lemond of Kentucky Sports Radio said.

Kentucky Sports Bar and Grille worked with Breeders’ Cup this year to allow a safe place for fans to come and watch the horse race while staying socially distanced the best they could.

“We're giving away cash while you’re sitting here, but the Breeders' Cup is the one who sponsored it so they wanted us to be a part of it, the fans to come enjoy the race as much as they could, even though they can't go to the track today,” Lemond said.

Breeders’ Cup gave the bar $5,000 to give to customers who guessed correctly on the horse races. Within the two days, Breeders’ Cup held 10 races, giving the winning customer $500 for each race.
