LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As part of its GEA2DAY program, GE Appliances is creating 150 new part-time production positions at Appliance Park. The positions are intended for college students looking to gain real-world experience as well as those seeking part-time work.

Members of the GEA2DAY program, which began in 2018, work Mondays and Fridays so that college students have flexibility while scheduling their classes throughout the week. The positions provide a $14 an hour wage and up to $6,000 per year in college tuition assistance. 

The part-time positions also help support vacation and time-off requests from full-time employees.

The positions also include a night shift bonues for second and third shift employees with opportunities for advancement, paid holidays and vacation, appliance discounts on the first day of employment and on-site resources such as a wellness clinic.
