KENTUCKY - Many Kentucky universities and colleges are starting to consider the possibility that in-person classes may not be ready to resume by the fall of 2020.

Eastern Kentucky University Interim President Dr. David McFaddin shared what factors his campus is considering, when and how to re-open campus.

Currently, the first summer session of classes at EKU starts in mid-May and will be offered 100% remotely. 

President McFaddin shared that he is optimistic that in-person classes will resume for the second part of the summer session.

All campus buildings at EKU remain closed to the general public and remote work continues for many employees and others are reporting on an as-needed basis.
