KENTUCKY —  Voice of America English reporter Sabina Castelfranco, has been reporting extensively from Rome, Italy on the impact of the coronavirus on the country. 

Castelfranco spoke with Spectrum News 1 about her recent story about on an Italian patient who describes what it's like to have COVID-19.

Castelfranco shares the personal and traumatic experience of 38-year-old Italian, Fausto Rossi, who contracted the virus earlier this month and has just been released from a hospital’s intensive care unit. 

Castlefranco also expiains what message Rossi has for young people and those showing no symptons.
