LOUISVILLE, Ky. - It's a pretty special group meeting on Friday afternoon at Troll Pub in downtown Louisville.
One that not just anyone can be a part of, moms of multiples taking it one day at a time on their journey through motherhood.
Meredith Pack mom to 3 year-old twins Ramona and Raylan and big brother Lincoln still remembers the moment she learned she was having not just one but two babies.
"It was a big shock to find out we were having twins but it's a really cool group to be a part of it's not super common but as people find out you have twins then all these people suddenly oh I know so and so has twins so and so has twins so it's a great little network be connected to and it's really special not everyone get to experience it," Pack said.
The group which includes working and stay home moms meets the last Friday of each month at different locations find comfort in knowing they aren't alone.
Its double diapers, double the tears but also double the love for this group of moms says Mary Cooper whose twins Logan and Reagan will soon turn three and have big sister Morgan to keep them company.
"My daughter is really learning that foot stomp with those hands on her hips so sometimes it's just nice to interact laugh about it you know kind of give stories of this is what happened today and then knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel," Cooper said.
The light at the end of tunnel is something Stephanie Watson knows all about, her twins Hannah and William are now 15, she knows the up and downs well but says are these days to hold on to the tightest.
"They have one class together this year as freshman and the coolest thing is that when I catch them and they don't know that I’m listening but I catch them studying together helping each other and just the bond that they have sometimes they fight just like any other siblings but when they actually help each other out and they are there for each other and have each others' backs. As I mom especially when they don’t know you are watching or don't know your listening that is the best feeling in the world," Watson said.
