LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky State Parks will give people a chance to win a variety of prizes this year at the Kentucky State Fair.
Parks employees will be manning a booth in the Pride of the Counties section in the South Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center. They are encouraging people to stop by and ask questions about the state park system. They’ll have maps and a video highlighting Kentucky’s 46 state parks.
Fairgoers will be able to enter a drawing to win a free camping trip, lodge and cottage stay, round of golf and more. You must sign up for the Parks newsletter to be entered into the drawing. The available prizes are as follows:
- Grand prize: two night stay at park cottage of your choice
- One night stay at park lodge of your choice
- Two nights at park campsite of your choice
- One round of golf for two, with cart, at course of your choice
- One family season pool pass for E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville
The Parks booth will also have a place for families to take photos. This year’s photo opportunity features a cartoon-like park scene.
The Kentucky State Parks exhibit booth will be open daily. The Kentucky State Fair runs August 15 through 25.
